Tango Renaissance Montreal:
Where Connection Thrives

Tango Renaissance Montreal isn’t just a dance studio—it’s a heartbeat of creativity and connection. Founded by passionate tango artists, our mission is to revive the spirit of Argentine tango in the heart of Montreal. Discover why our students call it their second home.

Our Story: From Vision to Movement

Tango Renaissance was founded by Burak Ozkosem & Sabire Sırma Saltık in January 2025 in Montreal. At Tango Renaissance, we’re more than a dance studio—we’re a family united by a shared passion for tango. Our mission is to create a space where everyone feels welcomed, inspired, and connected.

Tango Renaissance Montreal was born from a dream to create a vibrant space where Argentine tango, art, and community meet. Located in the heart of Plateau-Mont-Royal, our studio celebrates the dance of connection—offering classes, events, and cultural experiences that inspire dancers across Montreal.

We can’t wait to share the joy of tango with you.

What Makes Tango Renaissance Montreal Unique

Here are five powerful reasons dancers fall in love with our studio:

  1. Authentic Argentine Roots – Led by internationally trained instructors.

  2. Trilingual Teaching – Classes available in English and French, and Spanish.

  3. Inclusive Community – Everyone is welcome, regardless of age or level.

  4. Cultural Events & Milongas – Social dance nights, live music, and performances.

  5. Central Plateau Location – A beautifully renovated venue easily accessible from anywhere in Montreal.

Each reason represents our commitment to making tango accessible, joyful, and deeply meaningful for all.

Our Philosophy

At Tango Renaissance Montreal, tango is not only a dance—it’s a dialogue. Every embrace tells a story, every movement expresses emotion. We teach students to dance with awareness, musicality, and respect for tradition, while exploring their own creativity and connection.

Our Mission and Community

Our mission is to revive and grow tango culture in Montreal, building a supportive, international community of dancers. From weekly classes to large-scale festivals, every event we host reflects passion, artistry, and collaboration.

We are proud to partner with local and international artists, musicians, and teachers who share our vision of cultural connection and lifelong learning.
